So you want to start an Internet Radio Station. Great! It is much easier to start one than it was … say … a year ago.
I highly recommend that you have a website for it. Your website is the listener’s link to your station. The front door. The auditorium.
You can either hire a web designer to create a website for you (which can be expensive) or you can learn yourself (which I recommend). Click here to learn the fastest and easiest way to design a website.
However, there is a process to getting a web presence. A website is only one element of that process. The process is as follows:
- Getting a .com domain name (yourwebsite.com)
- Getting a web host provider account for your domain
- Building your website on your domain
So the equation is: Website = Domain Name + Host Provider Account
Move on to the next article, and I will walk you through getting a domain name. It is really easy and not expensive.
